The Lakes

Built as a 'fisherman's halt' also serving Terry's Green. The platforms are quite short so passengers should travel in leading coach. Station is closer to the famous lakes and more suitable for carting fishing tackle.
Ideal for angling or lakeside & woodland walks.

Wood End

The station serves a select residential area and many of the properties are set in wooded grounds.
The entrance is along a passageway next to the house - click here

Danzey

The station exists to Danzey serving the picturesque village of Tanworth and surrounding area. This village was used for filming outside scenes in the first series of the TV serial 'Crossroads'. Attractions include highly rated (Michelin Guide) fine food at the village inn & a Children's Farm.

Henley-in-Arden

This village still retains many black & white buildings. It has expanded in recent decades and forms a residential commuter village in a rural setting. It is home of the famous Henley Ice Cream. There is also a Heritage and Visitor Centre.

Wootton Wawen

This station has minimum facilities and was originally known as a 'Platform'. It serves a small village with focal point - Wootton Hall. There has been only limited expansion here although there is a Mobile Park Home discretely concealed in the Hall's grounds. Attractions include The Saxon Sanctuary; Yew Tree Craft Centre.

A small village just north of Stratford where you can find Mary Arden's House; The Shakespeare Countryside Museum; Stratford Tour Sightseeing Bus (pick up/set down point)
