A new branding featuring the bard's head is being fixed to Shakespeare Line station signs - first stations to show the new signs are Spring Road, Hall Green, Yardley Wood & Shirley

1st July 2007 - New 'No Smoking' Restrictions

Rail travellers are reminded that as from 1st July 2007 UK government legislation comes into effect prohibiting smoking in public places. AREAS DESIGNATED NO SMOKING include :
- Station premises including corridors, lifts, toilets, waiting rooms, reception areas, waiting rooms and shelters etc; railway offices
- On trains
- Platforms and footbridges – covered, uncovered and partially covered
- Subways

Signs similar to the one illustrated here are being posted on Shakespeare Line Stations

No smoking at stations and on platforms

PlusBus Scheme Tickets - Available from Stratford Station

For a small 'add-on' to your normal ticket fare, passengers may opt for PlusBus. This is available for tickets to all participating station i.e. Shakespeareline Stations from Wythall to Birmingham Moor Street, Birmingham Snow Hill and Jewellery Quarter also for through tickets to Birmingham International.

Passengers with a PlusBus ticket are entitled to unlimited daytime & evening travel on TravelWM buses and the Midland Metro from their destination station.
