This village was used for filming outside scenes in the first series of the TV serial "Crossroads". Attractions include highly rated (Michelin Guide) fine food at the village inn & a Children's Farm. It is home of the famous Henley Ice Cream. There is also a Heritage and Visitor Centre. It serves a small village with focal point - Wootton Hall. There has been only limited expansion here although there is a Mobile Park Home discretely concealed in the Hall's grounds.
